Additionally, in response to demand for answers to coverage and capacity questions
facing carriers, building owners, public safety officials, hospitals, education facilities and enterprise CIOs, RCR will be offering a distributed antenna system (DAS) workshop titled “DAS: A Micro Solution to a Macro Problem” prior to the panel and networking receiption.”
Local wireless and mobile professionals are invited to attend the event for authentic networking with industry executives coupled with a unique opportunity to hear insights from the perspectives of operators, advocacy groups, capital providers and equipment companies. Specific topics include The National Broadband Plan and the current issues and opportunities surrounding 3G and 4G technologies. The first panel discussion is titled, “Building and Operating Profitable 3G and 4G Networks.” Jeff Mucci, RCR Wireless Group Publisher, will serve as panel moderator for discussion among Sprint, Digital Bridge Communications CEO Kelley Dunne, Alianza CEO Brian Beutler and PRTM Director & Partner Daniel Hays.
The second panel discussion will focus on “The National Broadband Plan: Impact on Economic and Employment Growth” and will include roundtable discussion and insight from PCIA CEO & President Mike Fitch and RCA CEO & President Steven Berry. Andrew Lipman, Partner at Bingham-McCutchen, will moderate this discussion.
