Novatel brings Mifi to Middle East

Novatel brings Mifi to Middle EastMifi has finally arrived in the Middle East, according to a joint Novatel Wireless and Worldcom Technology announcement on Monday, with the 2352 version of the device being let loose across the peninsula as well as in North Africa.
Mifi, a mobile hotspot which forms a sort of personal connectivity cloud and provides relatively high speed wireless connectivity for about four hours for up to five devices at the same time will now be sold at all major retail outlets and channel partners in the region, including in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Rob Hadley Novatel Wireless CMO noted that the move made sense as “wireless broadband networks become ubiquitous throughout the Middle East and North Africa,” and that the the MiFi 2352 would help meet growing demand for mobile broadband connectivity “for both business and casual users.”
Novatel’s partner, Worldcom Technology is based in Dubai, UAE.
