Powered by the latest Android OS, the A10 is “the perfect combination” of phone and GPS; or so claims Asus.
With an “ultra-fast” GPS position fix engine, the A10 integrates Garmin’s own turn-by-turn navigation with voice prompt capabilities and other Google services like Maps, Gmail, Youtube, Calender, Contacts and the Android Market.
It will also be a potential victim candidate to benefit from its own AppStore and Cloud initiatives too. Woo.
Asus claims it’s concentrating on the UI and user experience to tie in personal addresses from the Google services into the native navigation with less clicks; that at least, is a great idea.
Will it ever get you to buy an Asus-Garmin smartphone though? Hrmm, probably not.
