A revolution is afoot in the mobile industry. A revolution being led by device makers that finally appear to have all of the tools at their disposal to produce mobile devices that consumers not only want to buy, but in some cases, it appears they can’t live without.
Networks capable of supporting high-speed data services, as well as the reach to deliver those services almost anywhere; carriers willing to help bring the price of devices down to a level that almost anyone can afford (in exchange for a signature on a contract, or course); operating systems that are indeed mobile versions of what people are used to on their personal computers, but easier to use; and developers climbing over themselves to bring hundreds of thousands of applications to storefronts in hopes of striking it rich.
In its third special edition this year, RCR Wireless News goes deep into the devices and chips sector to discover key trends that are driving wireless growth. To download your copy of “Enabling the Mobile Revolution, Chips, Devices and Accessories,” click here.
