WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Rural Cellular Association recently instituted plans to increase its presence in the regulatory halls of Washington, D.C., that included a reorganization that saw the trade group replace its former executive director with a new CEO. RCA’s new leadership announced the renewed focus in the face of what it deemed the most stressful time for telecom lobbying efforts in our nation’s capital.
As part of the new focus, RCA has highlighted a number of topics facing rural wireless operators. RCA President and CEO Steven Berry sat down with RCR Wireless News during a recent visit to Washington, D.C., to discuss a pair of those topics, device availability and 700 MHz roaming.
