Azuki Systems launched its Azuki Wireless Platform appliance, which distributes live, on-demand, short-form and long-form DRM-protected video and other Over-The-Top content types. Azuki delivers mobile media content from media outlets and publishers, including CBS, Sony Music, Sony Pictures, Sports Illustrated and Sprint.
Ironhorse Interactive launched its Giftmeister online social shopping service that helps consumers buy and give consumer electronics gifts from both online and traditional retailers. The service is currently available on iPhone devices and will be available on Android devices soon, said the company. The service’s mobile application also includes a location feature that can direct customers to nearby retailers.
Pacific Controls Inc. announced a live demonstration of its Galaxy Service Delivery Platform in Sprint’s M2M Collaboration Center in Burlingame, Calif. The SDP delivers building operating intelligence and capabilities that allow building owners and operators to work with their local electric utility to reduce peak loads and optimize electricity flow through the utility’s grid.
Telular Corp. announced a remote alarm control solution, the Telguard Interactive, which allows customers to remotely arm, disarm and receive system notifications from iPhones and Android devices. The application is available free and comes ready to activate with Telular’s cellular alarm communicator, the TG-1 Express.
American Security Logistics and AT&T announced the availability of a wireless connected tracking device called the IZZ, which is designed to track vehicles and equipment using AT&T’s wireless network. The device is installed in a concealed location and responds to requests to locate commercial or privately owned vehicles and equipment. The companies said the device will retail for $289. ASL launched an Emergency Response Center to support the device.
