Brazilian Firm To Provide Industrial Applications And Networks To One Of The World’s Fastest Growing Economies
Mountain View, CA | December 15th, 2010 – Apprion today announced its first major expansion outside of North America with Brazilian industrial partner Solutis Technologias. Solutis provides integrated services in the areas of engineering, supply, construction, assembly and management of projects for Brazilian processing facilities specializing in oil and gas, petrochemical, ethanol and mining. Solutis provides Apprion’s industrial wireless applications and networks to Brazil’s leading industrial processing facilities.
This partnership expands Apprion’s reach into one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Brazil is one of the largest producers of ethanol in the world and is the largest exporter of the fuel. Brazil experienced the largest source of non-OPEC oil supply growth since 2008, driven by several large, offshore projects and increasing ethanol production. This growth will continue over the next few years and is expected to place Brazil as one of the top six producers of oil and gas and ethanol by the year 2015.
