Technicolor has lined up a new Android tablet and is calling it the Media Touch 2.0 TVA200. The device just got on to the FCC listing, offering hopes of am upcoming roll out.
As per details provided, the Technicolor Media Touch 2.0 TVA200 Android tablet will come with a 7-inch  800 x 480 capacitive touch screen. Other specs include a Freescale ARM Cortex A8 CPU running at 800MHz, front facing camera, WiFi and optional 3G.
We  learn that the Technicolor tablet will be tailor made to integrate with cable and IP services provided by local service providers. That indeed sounds good. Besides these features, Technicolor is also lining up a deal with Hong Kong based  quad-play service provider PCCW.
By way of the partnership, it will let PCCW customers to use Media Touch to play IPTV, place video calls, and connect to the Internet.
We are yet to know when the device will get a release date for the North American market. The device might soon come in, and Technicolor’s Android tablet plunge makes us happy. What do you have to say about this?
