Wireless stocks up since beginning of year

The RCR Wireless News comprehensive stock listing show steady improvement during the second half of the year. The RCR Composite stock listing is up 16% (167.39 points) since the beginning of the year. Carrier stock prices are up 10% (106.2 points) , while technology stocks are up nearly 19% (188.36 points) since the beginning of the year.
All three stock compilations jumped to their yearly highs on Oct. 23. The Federal Communications Commission the previous day released a report noting that the wireless industry needs another 275 megahertz of spectrum by 2014 to keep up with mobile broadband demand.
