Brazilian IT services provider Exceda grew 100% in 2010 and, as the company expands regionally, aims for annual increases of at least 70% in 2011 and 2012, founder and CEO Claudio Marinho told BNamericas.
Exceda will open sales operations in Argentina and Chile in the first quarter of 2011, and in Colombia and Peru in 3Q11.
“Exceda is investing a lot in the structuring of indirect sales in the region and is already negotiating partnerships with value-added resellers,” Marinho said. “Our intention is to work very closely with a few partners that will have the following typical profiles: telecom companies, Cisco-Riverbed integrators and datacenters. [Brazilian data center company] Alog is our first partner in Brazil, and we intend to use the same approach [of targeting specific profiles] for the whole of Latin America.”
Exceda will release in 1Q11 a service to optimize applications, its “first service broadly applied both to the internet and the intranet,” according to the firm’s founder. Thereafter, the company has its eyes on launching a video distribution service to enhance HD video delivery to users while reducing internet distribution costs.
