The international version of Portugal’s national private network SIC, SIC International, is to reinforce its distribution in the Brazil by being included within the OITV operator’s offering.
The broadcaster is already present in this country through the Net Serviços , Sky and Embratel pay-TV operators.
Commenting on the move in’Tele Satelite’. , SCI’s CEO Luís Marques said: “By making this new step we will continue with our international strategy targeting at a global presence by promoting our growth in number of subscribers and also in the advertising market; in this case we are very hopeful to win in such a big market as Brazil is.”
