Jan 31 (Reuters) – Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim’s flagship telecommunications provider America Movil said on Monday it would offer investors the chance to swap nearly $1.3 billion in Telmex debt for America Movil notes.
Holders of the Telmex debt due in 2015 and 2019 have until the afternoon of March 3 to respond to the offer. They would be paid slightly more if they responded before the afternoon of Feb. 16.
