Sprint, F4W ink partnership for secure VoIP

F4W Inc. said it signed a strategic partnership with Sprint Solutions Inc. in order to expand its market for secure VoIP encryption technology beyond government into the enterprise sector. F4W products offer secure communications for event response and management in the event that traditional communications infrastructure goes down.
Using F4W products, Sprint Solutions, a division of Sprint Nextel Corp., (S) will be able to provide secure VoIP and data solutions on its wireless devices and networks.
“Bringing Sprint on board provides us an incredible opportunity outside of the government space where we have had tremendous success while at the same time strengthening the product line we currently have. On the other side, this relationship leads to the development of growth-based solutions for Sprint in the government space,” said Harry Timmons, president of F4W.
F4W said it already provides the VoIP and satellite options needed, being able to bundle in the Sprint services with a potential for other Sprint voice devices further adds value to F4W’s “all inclusive, off the shelf” philosophy for its kits.
