@ MWC: Neustar demos Intelligent Cloud service with charitable giving campaign

BARCELONA, Spain – Neustar Inc. and Hook Mobile are teaming up with National Geographic to show how their technology can enable mobile giving.
Neustar has introduced its Neustar Intelligent Cloud service that enables the company to connect content providers with its database of more than 2 billion phone numbers, thus making the connection between content providers and wireless operators easier, said Steve Edwards, senior VP of carrier services at Neustar.
The National Geographic campaign focuses on saving big cats and is aimed at reaching out to younger people with its mobile giving campaign. Neustar registered 2D barcodes, mobile and video content to allow people to send donations to National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative.
