AUSTIN, Texas–Peter Vesterbacka, CEO of Rovio, and Ville Vesterinen CEO and co-founder of Grey Area, talk about the future of mobile gaming, which is more about the experience than the technology.
Grey Area has launched a game in Finland called Shadow Cities, which is a multiplayer game using location-based services.
Tetris has around for 20 years, Mario is still growing strong, and Angry Birds also has a 10- to 20-year lifespan, said Vesterbacka. Angry Birds is going to become a movie, which could take the iconic characters to an even higher plane.
