KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (MMD Newswire) March 18, 2011 — Baraka Telecom (www.barakatelecom.com), the first dedicated Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) in Asia was launched today in Kuala Lumpur. This marks an expansion of Reach Telecom Group headquartered in Kuwait into Asia.
Founded in 2008, Baraka Telecom offers the first dedicated MVNE solution in Asia and have invested in Tier-1 carrier grade Core Network, Operational Support Systems, and Business Support Systems equipment and solutions to support the growing interest from established brands and various community groups to establish MVNOs in this region. They have set up a one stop centre to assist all global MVNOs with the business strategy, planning and regulatory aspects also if required.
