After almost three months of negotiations, Takenet announced the acquisition of ComunIP. Takenet is a pioneer in Value Added Services market in Brazil, which provides integration services, content delivery, creation and management of mobile portals and mobile marketing.
“The market experience, knowledge and productive capacity of ComunIP will turn Takenet ideas of services into solutions beyond the telco world and the current business.”, said Erik Cavalcante Magela, COO of the company.
Together, the companies will offer even more complete services to real-time communications over the internet markets and also to fixed and mobile telephony markets.
The union represents a great opportunity for both companies, which together are intended to explore the concept of Telco 2.0 and propose new services and innovative business models to market. In addition to messaging and content services now Takenet has earned the technologies of voice, video and real-time streaming. According to Guilherme Balena, Director of Technology ComunIP, “telephone calls may be triggered by SMS, teleconferencing can send SMS messages in status for its participants, SMS messages can trigger calls for recording podcasts. These are some examples of the wide range of new services that may be created. ”
ComunIP team is very proud of this change and they are already working in the new environment with Takenet. The company is in a climate of news, with many projects in its head, soon to be developed and posted here. In Erik Cavalcante´s words: “With Takenet, we maximize the ComunIP value, it is in our hands the chance to leverage the company’s success and show this value to the world.”
