With all the crowing from PR agencies that their clients’ products are “unique”, “best in class” and “world’s first” it’s good to get an official stamp of verification, something LG has just received from the Guinness Book of Records for its (now officially) first dual core smartphone.
The LG Optimus 2x, officially unveiled at CES back in January 2011, has always been billed by the Korean firm as the first phone to boast a dual core 1GHz processor, in this case an Nvidia Tegra 2.
