Verizon Wireless (VZ) continued with its LTE rollout, launching more than 20 markets on June 16 and expanding coverage in the San Francisco Bay and Detroit, Mich., metropolitan markets. The carrier is on its way to offer service to more than 290 million potential customers by the end of 2013.
The nation’s largest operator announced it launched LTE service in nine cities last week.
