Alcatel-Lucent

Africa: With Microsoft to extend customer management solution to include Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The customer management solution is part of Alcatel-Lucent’s Business Support System (BSS) suite which includes customer information systems such as call center, billing, order management, mediation, provisioning, integration middleware, portals and now, customer relationship management (CRM).

United States: With EPB, Chattanooga’s electric power distributor and communications provider, to provide energy management options to customers throughout the region. Alcatel-Lucent’s Bell Labs is developing advanced analytical techniques and tools to help EPB even further mine the wealth of information from smart meters, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and other data to help reduce electric service outages, help EPB’s customers manage energy costs, manage power consumption during peak consumption periods, and improve operational efficiencies.

Norway: With Jernbaneverket, the Norwegian National Rail Administration, to implement a quality management system that will continually assess its GSM-Railway (GSM-R) network and identify any issues for immediate troubleshooting.

United States: With the Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) network, the nation’s eighth largest health system, to launch free wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) for patients, visitors and physicians. The service is available now, at Mercy Medical Center Redding, Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta, and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff.

Nepal: With Nepal’s Ncell which is part of TeliaSonera group, a leading European telecommunication company for a three-year Managed Service project. The contract includes managed services for Ncell’s existing Radio network including active and passive infrastructure, site maintenance, management of equipment from multiple vendors and OPEX optimization.
