LightSquared continues to rack up 'customers'

You can’t accuse LightSquared of not looking at its current glass of morass as half empty.
With the possibility of network delays, or worse, hanging over its head, LightSquared continues to add customers to its planned wholesale network initiative announcing today a “multi-year wholesale agreement” with NetTalk.com Inc.
The deal calls for NetTalk to become a wholesale customer on LightSquared’s LTE-based network, with NetTalk looking to develop its own branded voice and mobile data service for its customers. NetTalk currently offers Voice over Internet Protocol-based services.
Financial terms of the deal were not released.
LightSquared has signed a number of “customers” to its planned offering, including Leap Wireless International Inc., Cellular South Inc. and Open Range Inc.
LightSquared is currently trying to handle interference issues portions of its spectrum holdings are having with GPS systems. The company announced last week that it would use a different swath of spectrum that should not interfere with GPS systems to begin rolling out its LTE-based network, and has also been rumored to be in talks with Sprint Nextel Corp. over a network sharing arrangement.
