Motorola Xoom owners may be in for an updated Android treat, with rumors version 3.2 may be on its way to them very shortly.
The Xoom, which was officially launched with version 3.0 back in March this year got its first 3.1 update just two months later, and it’s now believed July is the next milestone for another Android release.
Word on the Google fan street, however, is that version 3.2 will represent just a minor tweak to the OS, rather than a larger overhaul.
The update will also finally provide a solid update for 7-inch tablets like the HTC flyer, which currently runs Gingerbread 2.3. The incremental OS update is said to be custom made for resolutions of less than 1280×800, and is optimized for Qualcomm processors, whereas the previous version was optimized for Nvidia’s Tegra 2.
