iSend expands mobile top-up service reach with Tigo El Salvador and Tigo Guatemala

iSend, a U.S. electronic payment service for people who support family members in other countries, announced that it has added Tigo El Salvador and Tigo Guatemala to its roster of mobile phone top-up partners. Consumers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada can visit more than 80,000 retail locations to purchase prepaid mobile phone minutes for family members who are customers of these mobile operators.
The arrangement began when they were partnered with Tigo Honduras. iSent said in its press release that it emphasizes “building direct relationships with dominant in-country service providers and working directly with carriers enables iSent to provide more localized services and to better promote special offers.”

The relationships with Tigo El Salvador and Tigo Guatemala expands iSend’s Latin American reach, as the two companies serve more than 9 million Tigo customers combined.
