The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) named Marcio Chaer as managing director for Latin America (LATAM) region. The executive has 10 years of experience in the advertising, marketing, telecom and media industries. For the last five years, he was dedicated to the digital and mobile industries.
Chaer specializes in strategy consulting and business development in the digital and mobile environments, helping emerging companies or large companies with emerging businesses grow on a consistent path, especially in emerging markets such as Brazil.
Since 2002, he has been developing strategies, businesses and special projects for companies such as Ericsson, Neomobile, Volkswagen, Banco Santander, Coca-Cola, Renault, Nissan, HBO, L’oreal and TAM (Brazilian Airlines), among others.
Chaer has B.A in Business Administration and a B.A in Marketing and Advertising. Previously, he worked for seven years in the stock market as an international stock trader.
