The network is currently available in Panama Metro, Colón and along the Alberto Motta highway, but the operator said that before the end of 2011, the country’s provincial capitals and major towns, trade and industry within the country will be covered with HSPA+ service.
Claro also announced that five devices will be for sale supporting HSPA+. They are Samsung Galaxy SII, Samsung Galaxy Tablet, HTC Desire, LG Optimus Black and Motorola Atrix. Claro did not disclose how much had invested to deploy HSPA+ services.
