Real-time translation software maker Ortsbo to go public

Canada’s Intertainment Media Inc. (TSXV: INT) says it plans to spin off part of its subsidiary, Ortsbo Inc., producer of translation software that allows users to chat in real time even if they do not speak the same language. INT shareholders will receive a 20% Ortsbo stock dividend.

Ortsbo says demand for its technology will grow as the Internet and mobile technology reach more parts of the world. The company recently facilitated the world’s largest global chat, as documented by the Guinness Book of World Records. Ortsbo President David Lucatch delivered the keynote address at last month’s Mobile Marketing Association Forum in Los Angeles.
