The Paraguayan Communications Company (Copaco) launch of its Internet Protocol television (IPTV) services starts its triple play offer, which is set to be the first in the country.
According to local press La Nación, total investments were about US $10 million (PYG 50 billion).
The IPTV service will include standard-definition (SD) and HD channels and will also comprise video on demand (VoD). It will initially be available in those 77 cities where the company already has a license. Copaco estimates that 10,000 subscribers will buy the service during the first year.
