RCR Wireless News managed to track down Dan Hays, principal U.S. wireless advisory leader at PwC, at this week’s Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain, to garner some insight into major topics impacting the mobile space.
Hays touched on government plans to convince television broadcasters to relinquish some of their spectrum assets toward a government auction of those airwaves to wireless carriers desperate for more spectrum; and the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for the wireless industry as it moves to decommission legacy networks in favor of newer technology.
