During this keynote, Alcatel-Lucent Wireless Vice President Mike Schabel will discuss what it will take to quench the thirst for mobile broadband, become competitive quickly and able to deliver profitable services to wireless broadband customers. Key areas of consideration for Competitive Carriers include preparing high-capacity backhaul capabilities, ensuring adequate core networks for large amounts of data, and Hetnet implementation where it’s needed. Staying competitive also requires these operators to assess their entire wireless broadband network with capacity, coverage and flexibility in mind.
