Welcome to our weekly wrap-up of everything in the world of telecom software. We hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year’s Eve and Day. Due to the holiday things have been a little slow in the world of telecom software, so this week’s focus is two main areas: predictions for the new year and playing catch-up. With all the back-to-back holidays, some stories fell through the cracks so we’re trying to make sure we cover our 2013 bases before fully moving on into 2014.   • In December, MYCOM won a “best customer experience enabling solution” award.
  • Syniverse announced that Open Mobile, a Puerto Rican mobile service provider, has signed a multi-year agreement to renew existing services and to add Syniverse’s IPX Network Solution and Diameter Signaling Service.
  • Wipro and Tele2 AB announced a partnership to jointly develop solutions around machine-to-machine (M2M) and the “Internet of things” in the European market.
  • LogiSense, a global provider of billing software, services and solutions announced that TruMobility has chosen to deploy the LogiSense EngageIP Billing solution.
  • The CompTel Plus Spring 2014 Convention & Expo happens this March in Las Vegas, but early bird registration and better prices end Jan. 10.
