A number of telecom companies boosted their software service footprint this past week, including Redknee Solutions Inc., which announced that it joined ETIS on March 13. ETIS, a membership-based telecom organization, will help Redknee support its increasing software offerings by making more solutions available for communication service provider clients. The addition of Redknee into the ETIS circle illustrates the increasingly blurred lines separating the enterprise and carrier BSS and OSS systems.
Fred Werner, ETIS communications and programme director, noted that Redknee is an optimal example of a BSS software provider identifying the advantages of collaborating with the organization to boost business performance.
"By participating in the ETIS community, Redknee is able to share invaluable knowledge that will further develop our software solutions to meet the requirements of our service provider customers," said Redknee CEO Lucas Skoczkowski.
