NICE, France – ZTE subsidiary ZTESoft moved to enhance its business and operational support systems product line with the rollout of its ZSmart 8.0 platform targeting communication service providers.
The company claims the platform can help operators deal with challenges of the “data era” by focusing on three areas: operations and maintenance; operating strategy; and market-related operations. ZTESoft said the service enables “highly-targeted” marketing, multi-channel coordination, a unified contact center, social media, Internet self-help and network deployment to help operators handle customer service needs.
ZTESoft said the platform can be deployed in a cloud environment, providing demand-based scalability and a claimed module management approach to help operators manage capital expenditures and deployment schedules. The service is also built on the “Best of Suite” concept that is said to flatten a network structure, and centralizes data to enable data analysis.
Tied to this week’s TM Forum Live event, ZTESoft also said the offering was developed in cooperation with the TM Forum, tapping into industry standards and specifications, and passing the TM Forum Frameworx 12.0 certification process.
