Salesforce hits wearables market (RCR Mobile Minute)

Mobile Minute:
The Mobile Minute is sponsored by SpiderCloud Wireless. When it comes to wearables, one size may not fit all. Salesforce.com is hoping to capitalize on the idea that businesses can find unique ways to leverage connectivity. Today the software giant launched Salesforce Wear to empower its customers to create their own wearable technologies.
Many businesses that interface with the public are recognizing the value of wristbands and other one-time wearables that can facilitate payment, activate coupons, and deliver key information about what customers are looking at, touching and ultimately buying when they enter a venue.
Salesforce.com says ARM, Fitbit, Pebble, Philips, and Samsung are all its partners in its Salesforce Wear initiative.
