Wireless charging comes to Starbucks (RCR Mobile Minute)

Mobile Minute:
The Mobile Minute is sponsored by SpiderCloud Wireless. Powermat has reportedly won a mega-deal with Starbucks that will eventually put the wireless charging system into Starbucks stores nationwide. Starbucks customers will be able to place their mobile devices onto tables and charge them while they use them. The charging stations will be embedded into the tables. According to the Verge, the rollout will start in San Francisco and spread to other West Coast cities this year, before making its way to other U.S. cities next year.
Powermat is a small part of a very big company. To learn more, watch today’s video below.
