Today Twitter said it is buying SnappyTV, a startup that allows marketers to share TV video clips on social media. “Together, we’ve worked with the biggest content partners in the world to inject the best video content into Twitter’s real-time conversation, straight from the TV to your mobile device,” the company said in a press release. SnappyTV is a four-year-old company that says it was founded to help people share important moments on mobile devices. Apparently it has found a customer base with advertisers who want to share what they consider important moments on Twitter. |
