500,000 jobs from 500 MHz of new spectrum, report says: NAB counters with ‘protect tv’ campaign
The rhetoric continues to heat up between proponents of releasing more spectrum for mobile broadband and the concerns of the National Association of Broadcasters, which fear its members will be forced to give up that spectrum. Mobile Future, which advocates releasing more spectrum for wireless networks, released a paper that says more than 300,000 jobs would be created from unleashing an additional 300 megahertz of spectrum. Google laments rising anti-competitive nature of patents
Google Inc. is fighting back in a war of words over its patent position.
