CloudBees CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise now available on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
CloudBees. Inc, the hub of enterprise Jenkins and DevOps, recently announced the availability of CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise offers operations centers and managed masters as a service on most public and private cloud providers. It provides enterprise-grade features and capabilities, which enable organizations to scale continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), according to the company.
Geared toward DevOps teams, the company said that CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform can provide enterprises with a continuous delivery solution, including features to meet security standards, and make it easier to manage and scale.
DevOps is a term used to refer to the blending of operations teams and software developers. The concept has spread like wildfire throughout the telecom industry. The purpose of bringing these two teams together is to accelerate the time-to-market for applications with lower costs and better quality. According to CloudBees, CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is intended to help DevOps teams boost application delivery across environments that are often complex.

The company added that launching CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform can provide enterprises with a cloud-ready Jenkins cluster with features for scalability, manageability, greater security and high availability, which can be hosted either on-premise or in the public cloud. A subscription to CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise offers 24/7 access to Jenkins experts as well. This is intended to help customers resolve issues quickly so they can focus on delivering software.
The announcement follows CloudBees reporting earlier this month strong financial results for the year ending January 31, 2018, including a 60% overall revenue increase and 77% growth in subscription revenue. CloudBees also significantly expanded its user base, adding 69% more new customers than it did in 2016, according to the company.
