Samsung HVAC America announced a partnership with US Air Conditioning Distributors as a wholesale distributor of Samsung’s HVAC residential and commercial VRF systems.
US Air Conditioning Distributors covers the Western U.S. and has distribution branch locations in California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona.
?We are very excited to have US Air as a Samsung partner,? said Jacob Ford, sales director for Samsung HVAC?s western region.
Located in Roanoke, Texas, Samsung HVAC America is the North American headquarters for Samsung?s heating and cooling products with distribution channels throughout the U.S. and Canada. Samsung HVAC America recently said that it aims to expand the Samsung residential and commercial air conditioning business in North America by building, training, and supporting a network of specifying representatives, distributors, and installers.
Earlier this year, Samsung HVAC America launched its new ventilation product line for the commercial segment. This product line, dubbed “Fresh Access”, is designed to bring fresh air into commercial buildings. Samsung?s Fresh Access product line includes three solutions that will align with ASHRAE requirements for fresh air: packaged dedicated outside air system (DOAS), split DOAS, and energy recovery ventilators (ERVs).
The Fresh Access packaged DOAS unit can provide up to 100% outside air to meet ASHRAE Standard 62.1 and ASHRAE Standard 90.1 requirements for fresh air and energy efficiency. Up to 20,000 CFM, systems range from 3 to 70 tons, have multiple heat source options, and integrate with Samsung central controls for simplified operation, the company said.
The Fresh Access DOAS split system series is designed with DVM S Heat Recovery air cooled and water cooled outdoor units that provide 100% outside air with sizes of 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 CFM. The split indoor section is equipped with a main (cooling) DX coil and reheat coil to dehumidify 100% outside air and provide fresh neutral air to the space, according to the comanpy.
The Fresh Access ERV utilizes an energy recovery core media to improve indoor air quality by providing fresh air for commercial buildings, such as schools and office buildings, in both warm and humid climates and very cold climates.
Samsung HVAC America currently operates three business offices and two training facilities in California, Texas, and Pennsylvania.
