Wilson Electronics announced the availability of its new cell signal amplifier, the WilsonPro Pro 1100.
Wilson Electronics said that the Pro 1100 will provide superior cell signal quality for its users, due to its ability to reach cell towers that are further away and the power to cover up to 35,000 square feet of indoor square footage, so that it can support mid-sized commercial spaces including retail, restaurant and office buildings.
The company also highlighted that the strengthened cellular connectivity provided by the Pro 1100 increases employee productivity and reduces WiFi and network traffic in commercial office spaces.
?The SMB market is going to jump on this product as it is perfect for small businesses including small footprint retail, restaurants small medical clinics, and any small businesses suffering from quality outside cellular signal that can?t penetrate building materials into their business.?This product is also a perfect fit for large homes,? Todd Fariss, director of the WilsonPro Product Line at Wilson Electronics, told In Building Tech.
?Many offices have abandoned traditional ‘land-lines’ in favor of cell phones, making indoor coverage even more critical. Offices need strong signal for internal and external communication and safety in case of an emergency. Also, they need strong signal for calling customers or colleagues for work during the day,? the executive added.
The Pro 1100 features an uplink power of up to +25 dBm, enabling it to reach faraway cell towers. High downlink power is also crucial for greater indoor coverage, and the Pro 1100?s enhanced downlink power of +15 dBm enables the cell signal amplifier to cover mid-sized spaces up to 35,000 square feet, pending strong outside signal, Wilson Electronics said.
The Pro 1100 includes a color LCD touchscreen which enable users to monitor the unit?s performance, adjust the antenna, view signal strength meters and turn cell bands on and off. The kit will also include an outdoor wide-band directional antenna and an indoor omni-directional wide-band dome antenna for superior coverage for mid-sized commercial buildings.
This new amplifier also has eXtended Dynamic Range (XDR) technology to ensure the amplifier is always optimizing performance and will never overload or shut down, regardless of changes in outdoor signals, the company said. The Pro 1100 also has cell site protections that auto-detect and prevent any cell tower interference.
The Pro 1100 ensures voice and data coverage, including 4G LTE, by amplifying weak cellular signals to inside mid-sized spaces where cell signal is obstructed. It works with all North American cell phone networks, simultaneously amplifying all cell signals regardless of carrier.
?Our amplifiers are able to support all currently approved FCC 5G signal band aggregation, and as the FCC defines and authorizes the future of 5G, we?ll be prepared to maximize those as well,? Fariss added.
