Australian company Skyfii, a provider of omnidata intelligence announced it has signed an agreement with Boingo Wireless, an U.S. provider of indoor wireless networks.
Under the terms of the deal, Boingo Wireless will add Skyfii’s IO Insight data visualization feature to its intelligent network insights platform.
IO Insight is a passenger and venue intelligence feature that reports on operational performance such as areas of congestion, passenger journey paths and wait times.
Boingo Wireless selected Skyfii to further enhance its data services for venue customers that include major airports, stadiums, convention centers and other commercial properties.
Boingo Wireless has already used IO Insight in for more than 20 airports across Brazil.

The partnership provides IO Insight as a modular solution that can be sold by Boingo Wireless amongst other partners who take this offering to market.
The Skyfii platform is a centralized data platform built for physical venues. Skyfii collects data from WiFi, People Counters, AI-driven video processing camera, Point of Sales, ERP & Building management systems.
The use cases in which the solution is implemented include understanding occupancy in a venue, zone/precinct, frequency, dwell time, the busiest time of day, the busiest day of the week. The types of analytics derived assist venues with staff rostering, staff alerting for exceeding occupancy thresholds, optimisation of HVAC, managing security lines in airports, monitoring taxi lines and retail planning.
The Skyfii platform is deployed in over 10,000 venues across 35 countries.
Boingo Wireless provides indoor wireless networks for airports, stadiums, military bases, convention centers, multi-family communities and commercial properties.
