Fostering a Culture That Drives Growth with Chad Tuttle of B+T Group

In this episode of “5G Talent Talk,” Carrie Charles interviews Chad Tuttle, CEO of B+T Group. Chad shares his journey in the telecom industry, which began with his grandfather’s construction company in the 1950s, building radio and early AT&T towers. The company has since expanded into full turnkey solutions, including small cell towers, fiber, software development, and drone services for telecom.
Chad also speaks about the company culture at B+T Group and how it emphasizes employee value and engagement. B+T has developed a core award system where employees are nominated by peers for exemplifying company values.

Chad stresses the importance of respect, leading by example, and being hands-on, highlighting the significance of performance reviews for understanding and fostering employee career goals. Despite challenges, such as market fluctuations and layoffs, Chad expressed optimism for the future, noting a better start to 2024 with promising long-term projects, despite the tough previous year.
