Explore key MWC 2025 innovations, trends and news with RCR Wireless

MWC 2025 takes place in Barcelona from March 3rd to March 6th

It’s almost that time of year again — where the telecommunications industry gathers in Barcelona for Mobile World Congress to discuss the latest trends and innovations and where key partnerships and alliances will be announced but also formed for the first time.

This year, we can expect a new, if tentative, focus on 6G as we continue to discover what 5G-Advanced might look like and what it might enable for operators and their enterprise and consumer customers. And of course, artificial intelligence (AI) will likely find its way into nearly every conversation you have. A heightened attention to innovation around enterprise connectivity is also expected, as well as a look at how the open Application Programming Interface (API) push — spearheaded in part by the GSMA’s Open Gateway framework — is faring.

If you return home from MWC 2025 already eager to return in 2026, or worried you didn’t catch all the important moments at this year’s event, or you simply want to revisit some of the highlights, join RCR Wireless News on March 25th for MWC Key Takeaways, a half-day virtual event where we explore the latest trends, innovations and partnerships announced this year.

The agenda is packed with interviews, panels and demos from a variety of industry leaders and covers topics like 5G-Advanced and the next phase of 5G, Generative AI optimization and acceleration, enterprise connectivity evolution and much more. You’ll be able to ask questions, network with those you may have missed in Barcelona and hear from speakers at companies across the ecosystem including Viavi Solutions, Senza Fili, Fujitsu, Keysight Technologies, Orange Business, the GSMA and the European Space Agency.

More speakers are being added all the time. Do you want to be one of them? Go here. You can also register as an attendee using the same link.

The RCR Wireless News team can’t wait to see you all Barcelona and hope, too, to see you at our follow-up event!
