KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.-InterDigital Communications Corp. said it expects second-quarter revenue to be about $38 million and operating expenses to be about 10-percent lower than the first quarter.
The updated guidance for revenue corresponds to the higher end of the range given in May; at that time, InterDigital’s revenue guidance anticipated a range of $37.2 million to $38.5 million for second-quarter 2005.
Previously, the company indicated that the level of expenses for the second quarter would be similar to the first quarter, which totaled $36.3 million. The decline in expenses was partially offset by previously reported severance costs related to management changes.
InterDigital plans to release its second-quarter financial results before the market opens Aug. 4.
