The article titled “3G buildouts should boost network vendors’ Q2 financials” on page 6 of the July 18, 2005 issue included incorrect forecast figures for Lucent Technologies Inc. The company did not release a financial guidance last week and the numbers in the article were inadvertently taken from the company’s second-quarter report.
Lucent’s earnings for the third fiscal quarter 2005 are correctly reported in this issue on page 14.
