HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp.’s share capital increased $431.03 and shareholder equity increased $86,277.01 due to 5,966 shares of Nokia stock that were subscribed for via Nokia’s 2003 employee stock option plan. The new shares were registered and admitted to public trading on the Helsinki exchanges July 15 and hold full shareholder rights.
With this increase, Nokia’s share capital is $320 million and shares total more than 4.4 billion, including those held by the company.
