SAN DIEGO-Leap Wireless International Inc. appointed Linda Wokoun senior vice president of marketing and customer care for its Cricket wireless service. Wokoun will be responsible for developing and managing Cricket’s marketing initiatives, including programs focused on adoption and retention.
Wokoun most recently served as president and chief executive officer of RiverStar Software, which provides Web services development software that integrates business processes and enterprise systems for use in customer care centers, customer retention management, human resources, outsourcing and other production functions. Prior to her stint at RiverStar, Wokoun served as chief operating officer at Sprint Corp. wireless affiliate iPCS Inc.
