STOCKHOLM-L.M. Ericsson said it will deploy its Jambala open application platform over SBC Wireless’ Time Division Multiple Access wireless networks in Chicago and Springfield, Ill.
The implementation will increase flexibility and openness within SBC’s network infrastructure, allowing delivery of value-added services to subscribers, said Ericsson. Also included in the contract is a systems upgrade to enhance SBC’s processing capability and capacity, said the company.
