BOSTON-American Tower Corp. reported revenues for the first quarter ended June 30 of $59.2 million, more than double the $23.1 million in revenues the company reported for first-quarter 1998.
American Tower said it had net losses of $9.9 million, or 6 cents per share, compared with a net loss of $19.8 million, or 35 cents per share, recorded for the same time last year. “Our growth clearly demonstrates continuing demand for our towers, services and teleports,” said American Tower’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Steve Dodge.
