HELSINKI-Nokia Corp., working in cooperation with Italian companies Site SpA, Teli SpA, Convert Italia SpA and ETS srl, said it will provide a TETRA professional mobile radio network to Arma Dei Carabinieri, in the Lazio region in Italy.
The first phase of the network is expected to be operational at the end of this year and will enable secure, professional services for Italy’s national police force, said Nokia.
Nokia will deliver switches, base stations, dispatching equipment, network management systems, terminals and related customer services.
