SAN FRANCISCO-A citizens group plans to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a recent federal appeals court decision upholding the Federal Communications Commission’s mobile-phone radiation safety standard.
The Ad Hoc Association of Parties Concerned about FCC Radio-frequency Radiation and Health and Safety rules has retained lawyer Whitney North Seymour Jr. on a pro bono basis for the Supreme Court appeal.
Seymour, whose law firm is based in New York, is a former U.S. attorney and founder of the National Resources Defense Council. He specializes in health care, administrative and constitutional law.
